Thanks Anthony. They look good and that first one is definitely my favourite.

Thank you, Anthony !
It is an ice-covered, dark fall morning in my Michigan garden. Icicles dripping from tree branches. To see your 'Harlequin' brings sunshine.
Keep the pictures coming.

Love it Anthony! Don't see many melon colored lilies with spots anymore. I do like spots too so maybe I'm just a sucker. Lol

I hope to have its seeds in the exchange. I'm still cleaning seeds and haven't got to these yet.

I particularly like those snazzy red anthers Thumbs up . This was grown from one of Joe Halinar's pastel Asiatic mixes.

Beautiful, Anthony & Tracey.
I also have a quick question -
Is the term 'Tango' a generic description of a throat spotted lily of any color?

Well kinda. Tango type lilies have a special kind of "spotting". It's really more of a flecking as if spray painted from a low angle to the petal surface, rather than directly perpendicular. Spots are rarely rounded, and the density of the flecking can vary from sparse to coalescing to a solid color, even on the same flower. The spotted parts are never raised on the petal surface as other types of spots sometimes are.

Rick, I couldn't think of a more descriptive answer. Thank you! As I was reading along this morning, I got to that and thought, hmmmm, how would you describe that Tango thing?? Only to scroll down and find the answer in the posts that followed. Nice work and with fine examples!

Joshua, nice lily. Do you know who it is?
