When my lilies sleep, I pull out my pencils & draw them. I'm enchanted by their beauty and spend hours studying the details. I enjoy the technical discussion on this thread. I gain a greater understanding, and think about what I learned as I work.

Yes, wax Prismacolor pencils, then burnished with wax. My work (lilies, morning glories, delphinium, daisy-of my garden buddies) have been juried and are now gallery exhibited here in Michigan.
