I love the pink with 9 prolifs and the seedling # 210
with its vibrant coloring. The eye and edge looks
almost black.

Only got 1/4" of rain yesterday so today will be bed prep day if no rain this morning. Did get the grass removed from the two new beds yesterday.

The well branched seedling had a decent bloom, not the color I was looking for but good enough to watch another year.

I love that one! I really like those eyes that look almost hand painted and blend into another color -- very nice!

Hi Fred, I just went to the "Growing Daylilies Together" site and had a wonderful time viewing your 2012 seedling file. Would it be ok for me to put a link to that web site on this thread???

I like it too. You're right, Betty, it does look hand painted.

That would be ok Mona, most of them have been posted here already.
Finished the new seedling area yesterday between light rain showers. Need to add water sprinklers just in case it stops raining in the future.

Very nice Fred. We'll be building some new beds soon and digging trenches for the pipes and sprinklers. WWWHHHHHEEEEWWWWW I'm tired already thinking about it. We are gonna need lots of beds because James planted tons and tons of seeds, plus what me and Kim planted.

The new beds are only 40' long, one will be used for the dip seedlings and the other will be for my son. Got another 60' bed completed yesterday, only have one more and it is the worse, its full of two year olds that have to come out before I can do anything to it.
This is not a seedling but want to show it here and not start a new thread on this one flower. I have waited on this one treated daylily for 5 years and it had it's first bloom yesterday. It was treated when it was still a seedling, sometime this process takes several tries to get a full tet, the reason for the long wait. The bloom on this is 2" larger than the dip and the scape has a lot more beef to it.

Love your TET LILLIAN'S THIN ICE! And have you gotten your TET LILLIAN'S VAPOR TRAIL yet? I'm all for sturdier scapes, since I can't keep my NORTH WIND DANCER scapes from practically dragging in the dirt and I always have to stake them. Sure wish someone would treat that one because I really love it, but I'm about to give it to my sister to see if it will do better for her since her weather is a bit cooler.

I just got North Wind Dancer this year and same thing -- the scape/bloom was all bent over... maybe it will be stronger/more upright next year?? Shrug! Shrug!

That's strange because I have had North Wind Dancer for several years and scapes are always nice and upright. Maybe you both have more wind where you live than I do.
