Such fun to dig in the dirt and see how many you can get out. Which one was that, Moby?

Hi fixpix! Don't think I've said hello to you on here before. So hello!

Hello Polly.
I'm probably unique. You know any other Romanian on this forum? :)
I'm trying to blend in but it's not easy. I'm on different time zone, I wake up when you go to bed.
I am "active" when I'm at work (usually) and all my pics are at home on my laptop.
And links are just links.
I'll t ry to catch up real quick!

Hi, fixpix

I am unique too, don't think there are others from Norway here. But you have probably seen that we that are using this forum are from different time zones, but it's not a problem at all.

Fixpix, you're in good company here--you'll love it! Time zones and different times don't mean anything! It's:'All Lilies All The Time' here! Welcome!

Moby--that Scheherazade was 'Livin' Good' and 'Lovin It' whereever you had it. I've still got some to move around here, too! But many stayed green later this year and that's holding things up a bit. Just a light frost last nite @ 32.1 F

Actually, I moved them about a month ago and the stems died down just a couple days ago with the cold weather. Quick transplant is the key ~ I dig the new location first so I can throw them in right away.

Those are some real nice bublets too!. Quite often, I'll save the bigger bulblets for myself and farm out the mother bulbs to some lucky recipient who of course, couldn't be happier--while at the same time, I'm keeping my stock young(er).

Oh, I saw the green in the pic; paused, then never gave it a second thought since you were the one doing the moving, Moby. I do that too, every now and then.

Fixpix, you're blending in just fine!

Where do you get your lilies from in Romania?

I just love that we have various countries represented here. And I'm always amazed how well everyone speaks English.

Hello Grapus, great to know. We could make a collection of "uniques" ...

Qwhizz, you are not unique, sorry. Saw some other Tasmanians in your thread. Sorry, can't join our club! LOL

Polly, I usually buy a couple online, mainly from British sites.
What's funny, the Dutch are famous for their bulbs, but there is no site selling for common gardener... can't buy wholesale!
I sometimes get seeds or very small bulbils from other traders (US of course, and some European).

There is very limited offer on Romanian market. Usually just some Asiatic and Oriental lilies, always the same ... boring!
I've only got Asiatic, Oriental (maybe one or two Orienpets, some tiger lilies, and some new ones martagon, formosanum, canadense... these are still small and I am not sure I'm gonna see any blooms next year.

I would always love to have something... UNIQUE!
