Dear all, I am sorry I have not been around! For some strange reason that the Doctors and Hospital cannot explain I have mass trouble walking. Have had untold injections, scans, X-Rays and everything else they can think of, no joy they do not know what has caused this.
I lost my father in October and my mother this February, also my wife and house after a divorce in June 2015. Life is difficult and lonely.
Hope you are all ok, I do not have a garden in this terrible flat, her just concrete.
Love to you all
Neil.

Glad to hear you are well. Unfortunately in some cases not so well and i am sorry about that.
My carer a man who was supposed to look after me has stolen a lot of money off me. the Police have arrested him andf now he is in prison. This does not help me getting my money back.
Be in touch soon.
God Bless.
Love to all.

Good to hear. the palm tree looks lush. Several years ago I traveled in the south west of England & admired the tree ferns. I live NE of Boston MA. No palm trees here.

the are best in southwest devon and cornwall thats where i bought mine from, got a red one as well, and a fan palm. they are battered by the winds here. i live by the sea
i grow mine in the back garden where it sheltered as wind gets at them. we where in scotland the other year seen them growing there, tough plants they tolerate -10c i know we got to that temp 5 years ago

Thank you for sharing the lovely garden photos, Janet! What a beautiful garden! Your climate is the best for gardens with its long daylight in the summer and a relatively small variation between the summer and winter temperatures. Oh, plenty of rain too. Hehe! Green Grin!

My garden looks the best in June. It goes downhill in July when the temperature goes over 90F Grumbling . It is not much to look at now. I am just waiting for fall foliage colors to kick in.

Your veranda is beautiful and very neat (my garden is always a mess Sticking tongue out ). Love the wall with garden ornaments. What a fun idea Big Grin .

I took this today outside my garage. The trees are only starting to turn colors.

hi donner, thats nice picture and as for nice garden last week we took 15 bags of garden rubbish away, everything had become overgrown over summer, took on the whole back garden at once, tidy pond area, swept everything
my husband helped me i used 5 bags to prune a passion flower that had gone totally mad at the summer house over the summer
uk seems to be sun rain and windy with winter storms but the gulf stream is very near us and keeps a even temp never over 22c and winter usually above freezing Crossing Fingers! Thank You!

It has not hit freezing here (32°F) as yet & tree leaves are coloring nicely. I especially like the red maple which has leaves turn a deep true red.

it was 7,5c today temp is going doing i buy garden fleece put it over my pots at night even the winter bedding plants need a hand. most of the plants i want to save are in the greenhouse. I got a feeling this year may be cold hope.

I really have not managed a digital camera so no photos. A mixture of colors here as we have a 'mix' of trees. No more pets here, we used to have horses, a cat & cocker spaniels.
