I agree with that, too. To change the subject, I went to the Arkansas Garden and Flower show yesterday. Awesome! The only bad thing about it was the vendors weren't prepared for the huge crowds; many didn't have chip readers at their booths; others took cash only. I mistakenly assumed I could use a debit card anywhere, I had to use an ATM onsite and got charged a $3.75 fee. P. Allen Smith (our famous Gardener home boy) was the featured speaker, so the place was crammed. I waited in line 20 minutes to buy a plant; I finally put the plant down and went elsewhere. Most of the vendors were from Little Rock, they should have known how busy it would be because P. Allen Smith was there. They should have had more registrars, chip readers and helpers at their booths.

I find myslef every year at out garden festival here, at that cash machine just outside the area its in. I know to bring cash and it always feel like I bring alot, but its never enough. Of course, if Id knock off the festival food , things might work out better. Blinking

I reference the CDC and the WHO, I find them to be very consistent.

Me too. Forgot all about it. Ok, a grump statement: why do so many people demonstrate that they don't have any common sense? Common sense isn't very common; it appears to be quite rare, particularly at this time.

My son has been a "guest" of the Bay County jail since March 4th. He was due a pay check that week..his boss has still NOT deposited it for him!!! I have had to put money on his books so he can go to MEDICAL..kid has been sick. He says just a cold but who knows!?!? I can only hope boss man gets off his butt today and makes the deposit. And IF for some legit reason he's with holding the pay then damn it all say so😡😡😡

Ginger why does he have to pay? Should they not be responsible for him medically? In this circumstance...even big cities are keeping those incarcerated who have not been to trial or sentence out on house arrest. It doesn't matter if he has a cold .. others in confinement may have the virus. Can you call his boss?

Boss won't answer my calls but usually responds to my texts. I agree jail should not charge for medical especially now...guess that's the difference between jail and actual prison. In any case I am not a happy camper.

I dropped by Dollar General yesterday, a very quick trip to get coffee filters to make masks with and they had TOILET PAPER and PAPER TOWELS. I bought one of each, I was one roll away of each from being out. Why can they stock this and keep in stock and Krogers and Wal Mart CANT ?
Recommending everyone to shop here if their local stores are out. A lot less people in there, too.

Responding to Lynda's comment about common sense: One of the two most memorable things I learned in college was: You can't teach common sense. I think it can be awakened in some people but many just don't have it. (The other thing I learned was that you can't legislate morality.)

Our little town is shut down. No virus here so far. It's like walking on eggs. People are aware and careful. Tony just went to town with a long shopping list and lots of money. My reserves lasted almost three weeks. We still have two big bags of dog food - I know what is important!!

In our small county 86 in one senior living dx and 37 in another ...
we have not had many state wide...that will change .... has to do with no testing or late resulting.

Now we are hearing more definitively that folks who have had covid19. Testing positive again. .. is it same infection ...or a new.... they are deciding. The are assuming that having the virus may not convey immunity. Of course some folks are not good at building antibodies.. on steroids and or are immunosuppressed

Beautiful day to hang laundry out. Get started and the line breaks😡 fix it. Hang more..so far so good..down to the last 2 pieces and the line breaks again😡😡 Too heavy to fix again without a) help or b) taking stuff off to lighten the load. Sooo take everything off and toss it in the dryer...I hate using the dryer on a sunny breezy day so I am grumpy😡😡😡

About screwed up mail, has anybody got their census form sent back to them? Well, I waited until the gov sent the actual form in the mail. Not online. It clearly showed how it should be sent back to the Census Bureau. In the return envelope there is this window in the envelope. It showed in the illustration how you put the barcode in the larger side of the window. So I did. Now it was sent back to me. I thought something must be wrong and it wanted an answer cleared up, so I opened the envelope up. Nope, no letter or note from the Census Bureau. Apparently, they never got it. The USPS sent it back. They scanned the barcode in the window and thought it was the "send to" address. How did I figure that out? My address was not even on the envelope anywhere...the USPS apparently weren't familiar with the protocol used by the US Census Bureau and thought that barcode was the "send to" field. So I got a marker and put a big fat X over that window with the barcode and wrote all over the envelope to send it to the address under the left side of the window. Think USPS will figure it out? They won't be able to scan the code again, so they better! I'm so pissed off at the government, who thought the USPS would be able to figure that out! I mean, is there ANYTHING that the government does RIGHT??? I'm wondering if we will ever have a functional government again. Grumbling

Now Let me see?????Why am I grumpy today, Father's Day?

First of all, I am having another bout with vertigo. Day No. 4 of the stupid fuzzy feeling and being off balance.

Second the deer ate our new beautiful cucumber plants.

Third I am sick of the Covid-19 and everything that goes with it.

Fourth I am unable to wear the MASKS to be safe, so I must sit in the car when others go into the stores. Of course at 91 I guess it is safer all around.

Fifth if I see one more protest for any reason I will break the TV.

I hope you all are having a better day then I am.
