They have a couple of small ponds with these fabulous large planter containers on stands.

I love their retaining walls. Love those containers on the pedestals.

Hi Sue, I'm not sure what Peony that is either, but I can tell you the Cat is 'Natasha', she is a maine coon cat, the smallest one of 5 maine coons on the Dancing Oaks property. She caught a bird out there today, but I made her loose it. The bird was pretty surprised when he realized she had opened her mouth and let go of him. The bird dashed to the safety of nearby trees.

What beautiful gardens.

A young woman moved in and out with her boyfriend and six yorkies recently. She is expecting and so is of the yorkies! Tiffany, my Westie, misses her little yorkie friends.

Thanks for letting me know her name Diana. I thought that she might be a Maine Coon, she's really beautiful, the name Natasha suits her.
My Yorkie took off after the three legged dog there because it had come up behind me when I returned to my car and I guess she thought she was protecting me. She launched herself out of the front seat and chased that poor dog. I ran after her and grabbed her, she was upsetting that poor thing, nipping at his ankles and barking madly, I had to profusely apologize to the owner for her rude behavior.

That would have been Dale, he is a rescue Greyhound. He had bone cancer a couple years ago. He likes vans, they have a couple vans at the nursery and he clamors to ride in them. I don't know if your car is a van, but if it is, that's why he would be at your door wanting in.

It's a large gray Yukon so I guess it looks big enough to be a van. I had talked to him and petted him earlier and then didn't realize he had followed me out to the car.

Greenfield - That bird probably died anyways. Cat saliva & the bacteria present in kitty claws is toxic to birdies. So even if the bird flew away, it was probably dead by the next morning. Trust me, I know. Smiling

Thanks for a great tour, Sue.

It looks like fabulous gardens are the rewards enjoyed by people who live in the NW in return for enduring long, wet winters. The lush, verdant growth and many of the plants from peonies to delphiniums are all unthinkable here, so it's a thrill to live vicariously through your photos.
When you dance with nature, try not to step on her toes.

Yes, and I've always loved the maple trees that you can grow there. They just cannot handle our mid-summer heat. They do good till about June-July-August, then they fry to a crisp :(. Really beautiful plants you have there.
