Wonderful banner. I love the robins. They're here all year and I love to hear them singing. Sometimes in the winter months we don't see them, but other times they show up. Lovey dubby Thumbs up

Happy Spring to you all! Thanks to Suzanne @Calif_Sue for scheduling the robin as the bringer of spring! I tip my hat to you.

I have a robin that I call Hoppy since some animal damaged one of his wings and he can only fly short distances. Usually though he just hops around the backyard while I am outside in the gardens. He isn't afraid of me and has been around a couple of years. Not sure where he winters but I can tell it's spring when I see him hopping around! Not sure if the banner is Hoppy or one of his friends though. Big Grin

Is Robin in a Thicket best known for singing "Bird Lines"? Hilarious!

Pardon the pun. I love your photo, Leslie! The charming way his head is cocked to the side is too adorable. Lovey dubby

I have a the fortune to have a bird friend as well. The popular name here is 'cachudito' https://www.google.cl/search?h...

It is a tiny bird with feathers on his head that look like a horn (unicorn?). He visits me every time I water my plants and expects me to direct a very fine shower in his direction, which he definitively enjoys very much. Sometimes he/she is joined by his/her partner. I will miss my little friend, because I am about to move back to the big city.

When I dig in the gardens in the spring, if I come across an earth worm I'll toss it to where the robins can see it. It's funny because as soon as they see me digging in the garden they are right there waiting for their treats. The robins have been here since March 1st. but it's too cold yet for earth worms.
