The most sunfast are some of the older ones: Smith Brothers and black ambrosia. Daryl Apps' Appsian Rhapsody is pretty dark--and very sunfast with great form and flower presentation. Black twister is the most sunfast of the spidery types.

I added Smith Brothers and Dakar to my garden. This year- one a red black and the other a purple black. Of course they didn't bloom this year so I don't have my own photos. I also have bela Lugosi and it's a very dark purple
