A couple years old now. Very much a 1c and in the "puppy dug bed" so parentage is up for grabs.

Oh, how pretty, Tracey! Yes, it can take a couple of years for the final form to show itself. I'm still a lot focused on 1c Asiatics, especially making Tango ones .

That sure is a beautiful seedling! I have always wanted to grow lilies!

Dunno if they grow in SD though (cuz that's where we're moving).

Lilies grow in South Dakota! I hope you have room for them where you're going.

We're gonna have 36 acres, so I hope so! My son ( @Johannian ) is very excited about having a produce garden. For his flower garden, he wants Dahlias, a few daylilies, and some lilies.

kim, there is no such thing as only a few lilies or daylilies. Two of the most addicting groups of flowers ever.

Tracey, that's a splendid seedling by the way. Is there some Fellner in that one as well I bet!

Dave, I know how difficult it is to get a true pic of those tango type lilies. The "reminds me of Tribal Dance" is beautiful.

Kim, Lilium philadelphicum grows wild in South Dakota. too.

And Tracey, perhaps the Fellner background on that one is the reason it made it through your terrible spring. Love that last seedling you posted, too.

This seedling decided to bloom a little funky. Lol

Almost looks like a little creature/figure waving its arms and leaning to one side.

Joshua, maybe it's pointing to the neighboring seedlings because hopefully they will be better looking. Lol

True. But I don't think this is a seedling I'll keep. It looks kind of like 'Tinos' with a heavy tango pattern over it. Lol.

I never toss that first year after flowering, that's just me. I have seen seedlings evolve for the better. I think the pattern is nice and has potential,.

LOL, I also saw that funky bloom and immediately thought of cartoon animation.

Remember, the flower isn't everything: it's got to have good growth habit, inflorescence structure, etc.
Dave, for first flowering, the two pics you show are so similar. I don't think I really see a difference yet.
