Vicky - Make sure that the pictures are resized smaller. If you're not resizing them, it takes forever to upload them. Your camera is probably pre-set to take them huge (probably around 3500pixels x 2000 pixels), which makes each image over a gig in size. Too big for most internet to upload (I can cheat at home 'cuz I have business class internet, but even then a gig image takes 2-3 minutes to upload). Depending on what OS you're using, I can walk you through on how to resize them. Or read your manual to your camera (You just got a new camera, right?) to see how to make the images a bit smaller.

And why would you shovel prune roses so gorgeous? I'd be crying for joy if I had that kind of blooms!

When I got the camera a Canon EOS Rebel T2i the image default setting was reeeally big and I did set it for a smaller size...plus I then resize them down to 640 pixels before posting online but I'm having more problems than that...like alot of fuzzy pictures and some looking over exposed even when taken on cloudy days. On the macro shots alot of them look partially out of focus..like say the petals of the rose are clear but the center of the rose is fuzzy. I got the camera through Dell but their customer service sucks so I'm not going to bother calling them unless the camera is defective....and I do plan to take some photography classes but thats hard to squeeze into my busy lifestyle.

I'm not going to shovel prune the roses I posted pic of...rather some that have been poor bloomers
and haven't grown beyond 1 - 2 ft.

Vicky - some are almost 2', most are between 6" & 1'. Sad I am definitely going to move Dolly Parton.. she's the most pampered rose I have and she's barely 10".

Yumm!! Your Charles de Mills is wonderful as is Golden Celebration! Wow! Mine didn't survive the winter a few years ago, but they were little bodybag roses, so that was probably the reason why (Golden Celebration was a bodybag, Charles de Mills was a little bitty sprout that didn't even survive the summer let alone the winter! LOL!)

Simply gorgeous. And it's SOOOOOOOOOO wonderful when your yard smells like heaven like that! Right now my honeysuckles are doing that for me... *sigh*

Skiekitty my GC is really small...never grew much. Its maybe 2 ft.
and just a couple of canes.
Boooo...I hate it when they do that.
I love Charles de Mills too.
Wish it was a repeat bloomer.

Here's some July flower pics.
Dayliles are in full swing.

Our weather has been beastly hot & humid (heat index around 100+!)
but we did get a break yesteday with some rain and cooler temps.
Here's Miss Kitty trying to stay cool under some hostas.
