I took some early morning photos on this 4th of July.

FFO on CHERRY PEACOCK is so tall I climbed up and sat on top of our stone wall to photograph it.

In contrast, my sad little clump with its one short scape on MISTER MAYOR is going to get a talking to since it is way under-performing. Shrug!

Happy 4th of July, everybody! Great blooms as usual, Jill and Avedon and Dana!

Jill, love your Flying Trapeze!

Avedon, wonderful 4th of July colors! THough I am in love with There's a Place. I have to check this one out!

Dana, Wild and Wonderful looks great. It must also be a great parent because it offspring, Laura's CHoice which I grow is wonderful too. I will post a poly from it that bloomed yesterday below.

David, lovely ruffles and such a beautiful round shape from Robert Ellison! Your Dracula looks very dark! Do you know if it holds well in the sun?

Here are my blooms from today and some from yesterday

Rocks Cry Out is new this year and I am loving it! It's such an unusual color pattern. I wonder what its kids will be like if it's married to Undefinable.

I'm getting to the end of my bloom season, but I do have three new ones from the last couple of days:

WATERMELON SUMMER - FFE - Just received this bareroot plant at the end of April from Paul Lewis through the Lily Auction - love it!

THE UNDEFINABLE KID - FFE - Received the same day from Paul -- and they both bloomed for the first time on the same day!

THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE - Received from Yenok-daylilies in May, and this is the second flower to bloom.

Happy 4th everyone! And remember...
