Nice Brassavolas, Elaine. Your lanai must smell wonderful in the evenings.

Yes, they are very nice!!

Slowly coming up for air around here - sorry I was not looking to create confusion with my quick remark.....

My Blc Chia Lin 'New City' opened a spike and the blooms smell great.

Cattleya Chocolate Drop 'Kodama' opened a couple smaller spikes, also scented.

Lc Love Knot coerulea is blooming and budding again. The whole clump was getting a bit unbalanced, so I hooked some wire hanger around it and it will be from now on a hanging plant.

and Dendrobium rigidum manages to bloom it's little heart out.

Ursula, little debates like that are a good thing as we all learn from them.

It is always nice to see Chia Lin. I have new blooms on mine as well. I wish we could bottle that fragrance. Beautiful color on Lc. Love Knot. I adore that Dendrobium and will have to put it on the wish list. By the way, if I find the David Sander, do you want me to pick up one for you?

Jim, thanks and thanks for your kind offer. But - I have a David Sander which produces so far one very pretty bloom/Summer, but there is hope that it might actually grow into a better performer. I had grown my plant from a small baby....it is a nice looking plant now.

Jim, I think it was Kathy that wanted to find David Sander.

You going to wander down this way next week for an orchid hunt? I'm gone the week after, going diving in the Caymans again, my aching bones can't wait!

I know it is Kathy who wants David Sander but I thought if I found it, I could get two or three as easy as one. I need to confirm that it is available down there and talk to my palm lady as well. I'll let you know.

Elaine...I love your 'Yellow Bird"...or whatever it is! Yummy colors and I'm a sucker for spots!
Ursula, you've got a bunch of beauties at the moment! I'm amazed at how many flowers are fragrant,
many of them remind me of spring..daffodils and tulips, not overwhelming but wonderful.
Here's a quick look at Marie's Song today, the 2 spikes

Carol, the Isochilus is a beautiful plant. Good growing!

Lindsey, Your Marie's Song is a parent of my Irene's Song and you can sure tell it. I agree with Carol, great color shot there.
