I checked mine today, it is starting to bud, so there is hope.

I am happy to see one of my Lc Mini Purple 'Shibuya' SM/JOGA in bloom today. I had bought it from Suwada and it was growing in a pot. Losing a couple of new growths right at the edge of the pot the first Summer didn't please me too much. So when my favorite Aquarium store had a table with some gorgeous driftwood, I mounted it last Winter. It did a lot better this way and is now nicely established. There is new growth on both sides of the plant.
The bloom has a really nice scent!

Aerangis biloba is hanging right over one of the Fish tanks and opens a couple more spikes.

And Pot Fairyland opens a couple more blooms.

Love the soft color on Pot. 'Fairyland'! I can only drool over the Aerangis...it would never survive here.

I'm thinking the little Mini Purple is a sweet little plant. So pretty on that nice mount.

My one little B. Little Stars is perfuming the pool cage tonight. Hope the raccoons don't take the scent as an invitation. They've been a real nuisance lately, and it seems to be whenever I have something that smells good blooming. The Brugmansias are in bloom this week in there, too.

Carol, I do much better with my Aerangis since I have the fish tanks. It seems there is just a bit more humidity around to keep them happy.

Gotta love the Brugs, Elaine! Regarding this Mini Purple - I really like the plants I got from Suwada/ (Japanese vendor selling at the Silva Orchid fest) Nice stuff!

My Little Stars has been blooming for about a month now and has lost most of its flowers. This is what it looks like at the moment:

As for Kathy's question on the size of David Sander's flowers, let me show you the plant:

Ursula, nice show, especially the Aerangis. I have a couple that bloom each year but I think yours is nicer.

I'm loving this $5 Apopka Degarmoara. There are several blooms yet to open on the spike and they are very large.

Nice Brug, Elaine.

I'll keep a lookout. If I find it, I can always baby sit it in the OC and ship in warmer weather.

Don't you love it when those catts sneak up on you like that! Couple of mine did this summer, too. Now I have sheaths blasting right and left from the unexpectedly cool nights.

Jim, Kathy I'm pretty sure they always have David Sander at Plantio la Orquidea here in Sarasota. That's where I got both of mine.
