So cute in a 3" pot. The stick @ upper right is an old inflorescence from I think 2020 or 2021. It's so firmly attached, it feels like the plant would break in half before letting go of that. I can still use it as a handle to grab the whole pot.

Baja your echeverias looks so nice it is solitary potting arrangement. I would love to have something like that but that means a lot more pots to worry about hurricane season. So I have to go combo planting and I am now constantly propagating so I have several echeveria back ups. They like outdoors in spring but appreciates being protected during our hot summer months.

I have grown and lost many Echeverias over the years. Due to fungus, root rot, unknown melting and most often the dreaded mealybugs.
This one is unique to me, almost like it is turning albino.
No rot, no drooping, no melting.
what could it be?

Interesting development. It's not likely to thrive without (hardly) any chlorophyll... protect from midday sun. Not sure it will have much of a future.

What a color change although not yet as dark red as the online photos, but I am happy. These will need to be repotted to a bigger pot soon, because of the babies.

That first plant is a totally different beast now. The form, the color, the energy.

Echeveria-adjacent plants, recently received, now fully recovered. Graptopetalum and Pachyphytum

Thumb of 2024-03-21/Baja_Costero/0c4829

I will be multiplying those plants to create a groundcover effect, we'll see how that goes.

Recently received E. cante (6" pot) will need a bigger pot soon

Yes I hope I have time to repot the top one this weekend. My exchevarias are doing great now but I will need to protect them from our summer heat and rain. I'm so busy with work now that I have no time to repot them.

It's ironic that I neglected them this winter, didn't even cover them and they are doing well. Definitely need to move them to porch when summer comes, these echeverias like our fall, winter and early spring but hates our late spring and summer. They will just melt and die but I have been constantly propagating the pups so I have back ups now.

I was reading that plant was a sport (spontaneous mutation) of 'Lola', a nice looking glaucous white plant. I would think iots of light will bring out the best color in that plant. Both the glaucousness and the pinkness. It will also give you tight, nicely packed rosettes.

Still looking for a name for this plant... great red color with just a hint of powder on the new leaves.

Placement wasn't great for this pot over winter, a near-death experience for the bottom right one. It's a great improvement at this point, everything was laying flat when I took this outside about a month ago. The companion plant is Kalanchoe hildebrandtii. (silver spoons)
