Yes you can. It will be fun to see what you get. Don't forget to take a photo of the seed donor.

Here she is!

There might be a tag buried under her somewhere... I was being pretty good about that when potting these up (surface tags are more apt to get "accidentally" moved, although Joyanna is getting better about that!)Thumb of 2012-07-30/critterologist/5ac7e4

I've had this one (Sempervivum calcareum) and I've never ever seen it that vibrant. The orange red parts are usually more of a deep maroon.

Now that one would look nice in my table garden when I get it going. I like the way it snugs up against the rocks.

Yes, I am completely bowled over with it - even ifr it's not AS vibrant, I'm sure it's still impressive!

Here's an older picture of mine:

It's always attractive and stays nice and closer together. I can't really tell it apart from Mrs. Giuseppi.

I need to take another because it's blooming now. I've had this one for years and this is the first time I've seen it bloom.

Tabby your calcareum has such a beautiful color. I just love it. I'll have to take some photos of my different calcareum and post them.

I just found some pictures I had taken of Mrs. Giuseppi.
One is from last year and is a plant that gets mostly sun.
Thumb of 2012-08-07/tabby/7a2ea0

The other is from this spring and gets a lot of shade.

I need to take picture of my others. I've acquired some new ones this year.

I just love the blue/green color, but the green one is so interesting with the pattern shape of the reddish/brown tips.

wheel barrow Beds....The shade cloth is protecting them from all the rain we have been getting i think. they are so pretty. You know I have to have a wire over them, then cloth so they won't get burned. i have some happy plants. Wished they all looked this good.

I finally got the last of my raised beds converted to semps and alpine plants. Newly planted beds are the three front beds. The left bed and middle bed are not filled yet. So far the middle bed contains different delosperma only. This may end up being my delosperma bed. Smiling
