We don't decorate outside any more as it would be difficult for John to put the light up the pine tree. Indoors we still use a 'live' tree so put it up a couple days before Christmas. I have a couple wooden Swedish Christmas trees which go on the mantel & the crèche goes up as well.

We aren't quite as much as Allison Whistling
Wreaths on the outside of all the windows, candles in the windows, and white lights on the bushes and treetrunks wrapped with colored lights. Lighted garland on the fence and around the door. This year we did the projection light for our big holly, it took 3 of them to light it.

I love driving around and looking at decorations, one of my favorite things to do.

Any decorations are good decorations... I say .. my dinning room table is covered with lights .. hopefully Randy can get something hooked up today.. hate that it gets dark so early .. not much time once I get home.. and why I usually do prep inside at night

Finished the village inside today and have decided not to put up the tree. After the antics of the cats jumping up on the village table and running in and out of the snow drape covering it I know they won't leave the tree alone. I'm just going to get a small lighted tree to sit on the table and not put any ornaments on it, something they can't climb in but something festive so I feel like I have a tree Sighing!

We always put the tree in the living room, & closed the french doors...However, once the door was opened, the kitties ran in so fast they always managed to knock something off before they were captured.....Nicki was pretty good last year.....I'll see what happens this year! I can see her pulling off a few ornaments just for fun......

No pets to bother. We hope to buy our tree tomorrow, but we leave it in the garage until a couple days before Christmas.

Last year we strung some lights around the chicken coup and grapevine arbor...went out yesterday to hook them back up...after finding missing extension cords, barely being able to reach and dragging a chair around the yard, stepping in chicken poo, trying to staple the wire to the arbor because I didn't like them hanging, again standing on a chair, only half of them lit Grumbling So frustrated Sighing! Allison I don't know how you do as much as you do Angel

My neighbors have 3 little boys, so they are really decorated for Christmas......I love it, as it gives me extra light when I'm walking Nicki at night!
