We have a balsam fir. It doesn't seem too bad this year, we will find out when we take the tree down.

I took my tree down, very , very dry!!

I think the trees dried because of this past summer's drought....CT finished the year with a 6+" deficit of precip.....Dec. was the warmest on record....ave. temp of 43 degrees.....

Warmest Dec here also. We have been getting some rain.

Picking up some Halloween blow molds today we bought used.. and going to Texas roadhouse for lunch.. will be channeling Celestes hubby while we are there.. is one of his favorite places too LOL

Here is what he bought. . The people were a nice older couple. . Go crazy for Halloween and christmas too.. they are going for more gore.. and wanted to make room..

They told us last year they took a smashed car.. put it into a tree in the front yard.. hung a woman out the front windshield half on the hood.. put lights and a fogger.. someone called 911.. and cops and fire rescue showed up at the house.. they made them put a sign up saying do not call.. only a decoration.. after the 4th or 5th call.. not my taste but made me laugh

Tree is down & the branches cut off to use as mulch in the garden. I will leave our 2 small wood trees on the mantelpiece for awhile.

Nice.. ours are mostly down.. anything that will get stuck to the ground is gone.. roof lights and tree outside is all we have left.. he got all the real tall stuff out of the trees.. not bad

all of our stuff is down and put into their bins. Now to get it into the garage

Randy got all our stuff down yesterday. . Just have to pack it.. all good
