82 dropping to 54 tonight. Cloudy, still dry. Rain continues to be elusive. It's always listed as four days away in the forecast. As Alice said ( in Wonderland) Jam tomorrow, jam yesterday, but never jam today". Nevertheless, a productive day of weeding and dividing on daylily hill. It was so dry that 82 felt cool. Thinking

Mainly cloudy with a chance of rain this morning, clearing in the afternoon, with a high of 64 F or 18 C. I don't think the rain will materialize because it is sunny now. Thinking

We could use some rain here, too. It is getting dry again. There is more of a chance in the forecast next week.

I agree Enjoy your day Dana! Only time to water today, have to do the whole shebang as I spent my time weeding and dividing yesterday. A perfect day to garden, a sunny 76 going down to 53 tonight. Unfortunately wasted as I have to work all day... Glare

Well hopefully here in Houston, TX it will not be quite that hot but it is 11:05 AM and the current conditions read like this:
75 F with 71% humidity and it feels like 75 F So I would say for us that is cool. Of course it has been somewhat cloudy but it is getting sunny and it
is dryer but the ground is still pretty soggy after the rains we got from TS Beta. Virtually all of the plants are still trying to recover from all that rain.
but the succulents are not real happy out there. The roses have some new blooms though

Lovely, Willinator!

It was a gorgeous autumn day here. Sunshine and lovely temperatures. Hubby took this photo of a monarch butterfly today just after it emerged from its chrysalis.

I agree nice photo!

Still sunny and dry. At least the temps have been better for working outside. Those cold 20 somethings with dew weren't very nice for morning garden work. Today was warmer than yesterday with a high of 80 after starting with 46. This weekend is suppose to be sunny with 80's, too. Should be a decent leaf peeping weekend with the trees starting to show some really nice color. I'm going to try to get the last of the major garden cleanup done Crossing Fingers! Forecast is for a good chance of rain....rain... Blinking wow....on Tuesday.

Similar forecast here, Char, with rain forecast for Tuesday. High tomorrow is 77 F or 25 C., but we were warmer today than forecast, so I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow is warmer than forecast, as well.

Thanks for posting the roses, Willinator, an old obsession of mine! The mirage of rain is still twinkling here, maybe some on every day next week but it keeps fading in and out. Blinking Speaking of pollinator friends I took this nice bee photo today.

Been having a great stretch of weather lately. Sunny 70's low humidity. Annuals and tomato's still look great. Beats this summer I think we hit a record of most days in a row above 90! Not a winter person with its short daylight and a landscape that looks like a black and white photo.
