We are supposed to get rain tomorrow. We could use some. I have been planting daffodil bulbs and moving a few perennials around, so it would be nice to have a good rain to water everything in.
Today is forecast to be warm and sunny again with a high of 81 F or 27 C. The cloud is supposed to move in later in the day, with a 30% chance of showers this evening.

Love those kind of rains, Will. Smiling

WOW it stayed out of triple digits (just barely) any way Linda we had a cold front come through so we are expecting some rain and it is (to me) really
cold outside with a temperature of 68 F and 82% humidity and it feels like 68 F I would love to send you some of the feels like 68 F your way.
because to me 99 F doesn't sound all that bad! Though I looked at the Tuscon forecast and the lows look a lot like ours in the 60's yet so maybe you will
get some cool weather too.

68 is a nice temp, Willinator. I was out watering before the sun was up this morning and that was probably what the temp was. Only time it is nice outside.

🎁🎈🎉Happy belated Birthday, Dana!!🎂🍷

We had frost twice last week, most of the plants are still doing ok. The weather has been good, sunny but windy yesterday, the next several days are going to be summer like, sunny, 70/75, bit breezy. Have to get the garden cleaned up I guess, irrigation system was blown out and shut down for the winter today. Sighing!

Garden cleanup was my weekend. I over did it, but it will be so nice to get done early this year. More clean up today plus picking up anything I don't want to get wet.....we have rain coming! Hurray! Finally. Could see an inch to two inches by Wed. afternoon. Small potatoes for what we really need to get us out of this drought, but we'll take whatever we can get. The ground is so dry there will be run off if it comes down hard. Crossing Fingers! for a majority of easy soaking rain. Temps were warm again today, 81 with an overnight low of 65. Sunny and humid with a nice breeze this afternoon.

Cool turkey image! Our pheasant has been strolling the yard off and on and the geese are coming through several times a day. With the leaves turning so quickly and now falling fast I wonder if we are in for a early, long winter....

Enjoy that rain Char! Thumbs up

We hit 100 again. We have now had 98 days of 100 or above this year. For June we had zero rain. In July Tucson had .46 of rain. August showed 1.16 officially. This month so far zero. These recordings are taken at the airport so some areas may have gotten more or less rain. Been a tough year garden wise. Sighing!

Today I got the sort of rain where I come in from work wet but not soaked. Heavy stuff is supposed to come in predawn tomorrow so I'll have another opportunity to get out and play in it.

Linda! Group hug Group hug Group hug I'm such a baby about heat, I just can't take it. Anything over 80 and I'm progressively more miserable. I'm really good with cold temps!
81/64 here, still no rain, possible thunder storm on Wednesday but I don't believe it. Every time they predict rain it dries up or blows somewhere else Glare .
Still a fire ban on in New England ( not surprisingly, as we are a tinder box right now). Sad

52F > 63F today, mostly 🌞 with rain due back tomorrow. About 6 hrs of off & on light 🌧 yesterday p.m. Now in a cooling trend for several days.

Turkeys were back last evening same time. A doe and two fans scampering about provided some entertainment. Not too much deer damage this year.

65/50 and partly sunny today. Brought in all the unbloomed scapes last night so they'll open better. Cool weather really setting in. Getting time to bring in all the yard decor that gets stored for winter. DH brought home this truck for the American Garden

Turkeys ate the seed drop from the bird feeders and browsed the weed pulls I haven't cleaned up yet. Chickadees are regular visitors.

Much cooler today after a summer-like day yesterday. Today's high is forecast to be 64 F or 18 C, cloudy with showers. Heavier rain is forecast for overnight. We did get a few very heavy downpours already around 5:00 a.m. this morning.

Goodness, Linda, you have had a miserable, hot, dry summer. I hope things cool down soon and that next summer is better Crossing Fingers!

Zoia, Crossing Fingers! for rain for you. It is scary when it gets so dry Sad .

Cute little truck Ginny!

Dave, I stopped feeding the birds because I had attracted close to a hundred turkeys under my feeders and in the yard. Then the deer started arriving and they started eating the seed out of the feeders and off of the ground. The dogs would go nuts looking out the windows and barking in the house at all of the invaders in the yard! Hilarious!

Well @Zoia we can only hope that poor @quietyard Linda can deal with highs from the 90's to 100 F this week as here in Houston, TX we are supposed
to have highs into the 80's as we are dealing with what I call "Indian Summer" the lows will be in the high 60's the rest of the week. But we deal with it
as I quoted in another thread "If you don't like the weather wait a few minutes and it will change! Grumbling Whistling Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
