Mine are not blooming yet .The snow is melted off most of them and it looks like most the buds are going to be ok.

Thank you. The color combo was an accident. SR sale hurried up and planted before the snow fall. Rolling on the floor laughing

JoAnn, so glad they're putting on a show for you finally! I've often had the first growth, buds, and blooms practically destroyed by cold weather, but they're really good about reviving after warmer temps arrive.

Cinta, what a gorgeous hellebore and a perfect accidental combo! I tip my hat to you.

@NJBob You are going to like it. This is second year it is a very good grower. It tripled on size from last year and it is loaded with buds. It started blooming the middle of March this year and last yr.

I just spotted this in my shade garden today. Forgot I had even bought it. I don't know the name though.

Platinum Rose came to me as huge mail order plant last year, but the blooms never opened. The root system had rotted in the pot all the way to the crown, so I removed most of the plant, leaving a tiny little piece that was somewhat healthy. However it recovered and even bloomed this spring. I like the gray tone to the foliage:

Anna's Red. A lovely hellebore, but I can't stop wondering if I have planted it a bit too dark. I thought the foliage looked liked it reached for light last year.

I just bought 3 Golden Lotus for my Lemon Yellow Garden at the nursery in Lancaster, PA that Jill (critterologist) and I make a day trip to. Really nice sized plants in gallon pots for $10.99. Can't beat the prices there. Also picked up Rose Quartz and Harlequin Gem.
