Marilyn, I just read this post today. I am so sorry for your loss.

On St. Patrick's Day, I lost my son to skin cancer. He was not quite 58 years old. It is a horrible disease. There are no words to soothe your heartache, but I pray that you will be in time, able to feel joy again.

A very close garden friend of mine is now going through that as well. Her husband is in hospice at home. So much sadness right now.

Please take good care of yourself, and I hope you will be able to find some solace in your gardening activities.

So sad for you, Evelyn. Death doesn't discriminate between young or old, children or spouses. All our wishes won't bring them back.

Arlene ~ Thank you so much for your kind words. It is just going to take some time. Life here is very short, though it doesn't seem like it when we are young. Youth is even shorter!

There are so many families having to deal with losses at this time, due to either illness, violence or war.

I don't have a lot of time left here either, so we all have to make the most out of each day as it comes.

I am very late for this, but I am so sorry for your losses, Marilyn and Evelyn.
