gardenfish said:Oh, no, did I miss the first show? I told myself to watch it, I've read all the books and loved them.

You haven't! They usually rerun the Sunday evening show the next Saturday, an hour earlier.
It was kind of a birthday present for my SO. All Creatures was the very first PBS series and first BBC production we watched as a family, not long after we married, on the first colour TV I ever had. It was magic!
This remake looks pretty good, though I have reservations about the Sigfried character. I'd be interested whether you notice the same little oddities I did.

Freedom of speech is NOT about being allowed to incite insurrection against the United States Government. These sites are private businesses, as I said before, they have EVERY right to ban posts or remove users from their sites.
This is NOT my opinion, this is what numerous Experts on Constitutional law and Constitutional lawyers have stated: this misinformation reveals the ignorance of the general populace about what the Constitution guarantees and what the Constitution really means. Much of this ignorance is due to the fact that schools don't teach Civics anymore.
Ignorance is NOT an excuse for misinterpretation.

Last night we watched the first episode of The Stand. I read the book when it was released over 40 years ago, and it creeped me out then. Now, watching the series in the age of covid, it puts a whole new creepy factor in there.

I just finished watching Imposters on Netflix. It's one of those shows that you'll want to pause when you get up for a snack. I had to "rewind" more than once to figure out how they got there!

Finally watched A Quiet Place, very good keeps a tense feeling throughout . More of a movie about the family trying to survive then about the creatures. Only thing was that it felt like the start was missing , no intro to what was happening.

We watched the first episode of the new season last night. It's a little different from the original, but I think we will get used to the new series. I really enjoyed the scenery.

I watched a new one on ABC "Call Your Mother" with Kyra Sedgwick...not too good in my opinion, rather corny and overacted Sighing!

We are also recording and watching the early episodes of Big Bang Theory on TBS. they started the series from the beginning a few weeks ago. We didn't watch it the first season when it was originally on, so we am enjoying it now. A little laughter each day lightens the rest of the news....

We loved the "Big Bang Theory"!

A few years ago when I had shoulder surgery and a knee replacement, I watched re-runs of Green Acres and The Little Rascals.

Now that am waiting for a hip replacement, I have been watching more TV again. Does anyone know what channel Green Acres reruns are on? There might have been a few I missed. It's a very silly show, but I enjoy it. nodding

We got confused trying to watch All Creatures, I think we paid for the season and/or started free trial of Masterpiece. We may look for something else on there tonight. Ideas? We liked Call the Midwife, Crown, Victoria.. pretty tame stuff.. Smiling
Plant it and they will come.

I started watching All Creatures Great and Small. I'm into the 7th episode of the first season. Looks like it's going to be pretty good. Another good Masterpiece series is Sanditon.

Just finished "Cobra Kai" on Netflix. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Saw "Wonder Woman 1984"

Aside from that, I don't watch any newer TV shows. I don't like any of them. I stick to the familiar favorites such as: Frasier...I LOVE Frasier, the Big Bang theory, Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9), Wonder Woman (TV), Batman (60's), South Park (cuz I'm crude like that), the Orville.

Movies: I stick to familiar favorites. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Harry Potter.⚡️⚡️⚡️
