What a pretty thing. I'm looking forward to Bill's expert analysis of this bloom.

What's the Wth? What the heck? Hilarious!

Gorgeous color! Reminds me a little of grape soda or grape pop. Perhaps a bit stiff or rigid which comes from its incredible substance!
The arrangement is artistic in nature like a piece of fine art!
The only drawback seems to be a complete lack of fragrance.
I think this represents a whole new avenue of breeding, Chrystalara is the genus I think! Thinking Lovey dubby

Yup, Whattheheckia!
Bill, I really like Chrystalara! Much more appropriate!! Thumbs up Lovey dubby

You know I picked this up as part of the 2019 Christmas shopping in a little gift corner near our Pennsy place. This year I didn't pack it away with the other Christmas decorations. It looks so pretty in sunshine. Come to think of it, this was the first time since 1984 that we didn't go Christmas shopping in Abbington/ Clarks Summit, Pa! Surely we are good again this November!

I saw that post earlier and was going to comment but I got sidetracked.

When I got back, it seemed even more beautiful then I had remembered. When I was coming up with my description, I thought fine art, like a piece of fine chrystal. Chrystalara seem to be a good fit.
Glad you liked it! Lovey dubby Thumbs up

Lovelies, Ursula. The 'Snow White' is a stunner.

Think your alignment problems stem from all the pictures you've been taking using your glass sphere, maybe?

I don't think I explained it ?
Did you all notice that the pictures we are posting in one and the same post are all appearing here only vertically? I know previously I could fit 3 pictures side by side if I lined them up properly on my IPad screen. (More on larger screens. )Which I always did, in one continuous thread. I noticed yesterday that is no longer the case, no matter how I line them up, they appear only in vertical orientation, one below the other. No biggy, just curious.

Could this have been something that was changed while the site was being upgraded?

Ursula, I think it's been YEARS since my photos lined up across the page. But anyway you line them up your flowers are gorgeous! Whistling
There's a few new things here today...

Thumb of 2021-01-25/sugarcane/fc34da
the very tiny and very hard to photograph Vanda falcata Shutennou 'Deep Pink' x 'Fumi' with another flower and 2 little buds that the thrips have probably gotten to.

Lc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y. T.' just starting a nice show

Rhynchostylis gigantea alba almost fully open

Thumb of 2021-01-25/sugarcane/a904f0

and Rhychostylis gigantea (Spot...or Clown???) about halfway there.
I usually get 2 spikes on this one but for some reason the second spike is just starting to emerge so that means I should have a longer show!
