In most cases if the squirrels don't knock the seed out and down to the ground the larger birds do. It's was so funny to watch these huge fat squirrels jumps up several feet hang onto any part of the feeders then swing around till the seed has been dumped out or falls .
Like this jay not afraid of me at all, looking in thru the window at me … with the expression that could intimidate even me.
Oh the bears are here too. Very scary some of the videos online show bears breaking into houses, better to not leave out any seed, cat or dog food out. Over the hot summer many taking over pools to cool off.
