Lynda, your pine removal post reminds me of this: my neighbor has a banksia rose right on the other side of the fence that I hate hate hate because it's so crowded on his side with other shrubs that it grows over the fence onto mine, blocks light, gets in my way, I'm constantly having to cut it back and it blooms for a measly two weeks a year without even attracting bees during that time. Last week I made a calm, reasoned argument why it would be best for both of us for it to go. He agreed! "It could come out." I'm doing a mental happy dance when he adds, "but I don't really care, so if you want to remove it, be my guest."

Nah not my last two eggs but man was I ticked! I had a couple bites. The dog knew she was in trouble and yelled at her to get upstairs outta my sight. She wasn't even up for the day when I went to the bathroom. She still had at least an hour to sleep. She's funny though. She'll come downstairs after 30 minutes and test the waters. If I'm still mad, which I was, I'll yell at her and tell her to get back upstairs. Another 30 minutes and she'll slowly make her way back down. Every five minutes or so creeping another couple feet. Until eventually she makes it behind the couch where she lays for 30 minutes and then creeps around the couch to see if I've forgiven her. The wife gave he a treat last night and I got up off the couch and took it from her after she took a bite and asked her how SHE LIKED it.

Grumpy at post office- told hubby his ebay package has left the building but there's no scan information-- seems pretty messed up there.

I've given up being grumpy about the tea from china that the USPS has had in their possession since Nov 24th and sent to TX. MD, NC and then state is in transit since the 3rd of Dec. Giving them until the 24th of Jan to get it to me before I talk to a supervisor. Funny thing is three other orders from China have gotten here since the middle of Dec.

I mailed my sis a birthday package .usps.. priority ...she lives in Fort Lauderdale.. I am in NC... it left our PO in HILLSBOROUGH went to Greensboro.. then Charlotte ..then Columbia SC..then ORLANDO then OPA LAKA then Fort Lauderdale....with a delivery to her door by 8 pm.... only it did not get there..instead it went to Jacksonville then Fayetteville, NC..then Greensboro.NC..... it's now in Fayetteville..assume on its way to Columbia

I haven't mailed anything like that in a long time, but I've heard from friends how bad it is..... now when I order online they don't seem to have any problem getting my stuff here ASAP.... and many of these companies use the same delivery systems! UPS, USPS, and FedEx. So, do they give companies like Amazon and Wal Mart priority over us Little people? I would say yes.

Hubby is waiting on an item that last scanned in California weeks ago.. where are these things if not getting scanned anywhere? I don't think he'll send anything USPS again. Also a big hassle getting the right shipping label.

I sent something priority mail to the next town over on December 10 and it got there on December 26 after we stopped payment on the check!!! It decided to take a scenic tour through Florida Cost us extra money too!!

Canada Post is awful as usual. For the second time recently, they put a key in the mailbox but forgot the package the key was for. And in their typical fashion, you call to complain and they tell you "well it says it was delivered. Did you check your mailbox? Did you check the BACK of your mailbox?" Oh no. I only check the front of the mailbox!

I'm also mildly grumpy that good art supplies are so expensive... Have two items I'd like to add to my supply collection, but I really can't justify the cost for them right now. Oh well... I probably have enough paints and pencils.

In the holiday season of 2019, the USPS in our area were so far behind, that they were not making contractual obligations for delivery times. Everyone was complaining that the package would be marked as delivered but the package wasn't in the mailbox, on the porch, etc. People were concerned that porch pirates were stealing the packages. Within the next day or two, the package would mysteriously appear in the mailbox or on the porch.

I told the post office I could have walked it there quicker!!!

I just got a package with daylily seeds that had been intercepted and destroyed. The reason they gave were bogus, seller had filled out papers. Seems to have only happened to the seller with the seeds that went thru chicago. It was suggested by someone in chicago that one might just want to go ahead and tape a 10$ bill to package if they want it thru.

Supposed to be VERY windy all day. Gusts of 20 to 30 mph, but here that means 40mph. When it's that fierce, it just wails and moans. This gets on your nerves after awhile.
I suppose the garbage cans will go flying. At least all the leaves are raked.

Wind annoys me more and more as years go by, it seems like.

I didn't think I was too grumpy today. but.. I googled a site for anagram fun and just grabbed a word to try and make other words from. The rule is, you are allowed to use any letter more than once.
I chose "Astride".. some of the first words I made were " disease, disaster, dread" I think I'll trash this word altogether, isn't going well!
