First. thanks to all of you for the kind comments, always glad you like the photos. I thought it would be fun to post pics of more of the small flowered ones, and I want to start with a favorite that came here from Hazelcrest Mike--and a doubly big to him for the two acorns he gave me.
Stella's Sparky--notice the date, for you will see more of this one.

Morrie Otte--my camera does not do this one justice, it's much prettier

True Blue Heart--the eyezone is quite blue, more than shown here

Velvet Shadows--great color, grows really well

Blue Buzz--eyezone really blue

Stella's Sparky--last pic and it's blooming October 28, which happens to be my husband's birthday. It was a great birthday present for him. Thank you again, Mike.


P.S. Here's the July pic, knew you wouldn't want to miss it. I don't seem to have one in August or September, but I believe I had the injured foot and I wasn't doing much picture taking then. I'm pretty sure it was still producing blooms.

I like what you did with Stella's Sparky, Avedon. Pretty cool to see it blooming so long. Also, Little Rainbow is one of my favorites.

Avedon - love Black Velvet Baby and Velvet Shadows and Mary Ethel Anderson. I don't usually invest in small-flowered varieties, but some are worth it!

I just noticed this, no those are not my seedlings, I was just commenting on the beauty of shive1's seedlings.

There have been lots of pretty faces added since I last checked this thread. Avedon and Ed, you both have some knockout seedlings!

Here's a totally random and unqualified selection of pretty faces. Some are weak performers, others strong. Some are simply am awesome color (Special Moment, I'm looking at you). For others, the only strike against them is a lack of reblooming. That said, they're all pretty and I love them.

It's a good one, and it had a strong rebloom with prettier, less splotchy colors than the relatively early first go-around. The base color is definitely pink...like Pepto pink, which I actually like...not red as per the registration.

And I love that eye on CHAIN ENERGY - beautifully blended and with such great color!

Those are some really pretty faces, Ken. Special Moment is a beauty!

I'll put in a vote for Holy Moses! I always like the dark ones...such a great contrast with all the other bright colors.

He's a favorite, for sure. I wish he rebloomed, but the hardy hibiscus take over when he and Ruby Spider finish. Any more blooms out front might make people's eyes bug out of their heads.

Twin Ruby Spiders - pretty sedate
Cherry Brandy (red), Kopper King (pink and red), and Luna Pink Swirl (short) - not so sedate 2020 was the first time I pruned the hibs for size, to keep them out of my face as I went up the walkway. I think they bloomed more than previously.
