I love Dr. Strangelove, but it is hard to find except at a premium price. Interesting habit it sometimes throws scapes with completely lavender blooms which will continue to bloom that way, so the suggestion is to make sure the grower has seen the fans bloom that you are purchasing.

Robinjoy, I have heard about Dr. Strangelove reverting back to its lavender color on some scapes. I did not get to see the blooms on my plant when I bought it, but so far all the fans have fortunately bloomed striped flowers. I guess it is important to get this plant as a double fan when purchased. If one of the fan reverts to its solid lavender color, the other one may still produce striped flowers.

Betty - I like all the ones you posted, but that seedling may be the prettiest. As you know, pinks are my favorites. I hope that one does well for you. The other one I was excited to see was Watermelon Summer. I have that one coming this Spring, and if it looks like yours I'll be jubilant.

Mike - It's great to see your photo of Superstitious. I love the name, and I've been tempted to add that one, but photos vary so much I can't tell what color it really is. I grow and love Tranquil Waters and Roman Cohort here too!

Debra in regards to Superstitious, I have a better picture on my Facebook cover photo. I have seen other pictures of it from abroad that does not look nowhere as good as mine. May have something to do with care. The other picture on Facebook is Tranquil Waters.
