I repainted my little lizard friend. He had some rust forming and could of used a new coat of paint.

I painted this round metal thing I picked up somewhere, Then when I was going to garage sales and second hand stores I picked up a bunch of aluminum drinking bottles to make a hanging something with. Today I put it together except for one thing. DH and his brother will cut a round piece out of a metal fan blade from DH's uncles windmill that I saved when they fell to the ground. I think it turned out wonderful. It is actually going to be a wind chime.



I can't wait to have it hanging outside. I am hoping that a shepherds hook will work but I will just have to wait and see.

Well, here is another one of my yard art do overs. This "Boy on a Swing' was hanging off the deck but the wind was too much for him and he broke. I just finished him except for spaying him with a sealer and hang him. DH is making me a hook out of heavy wire so I can hang him from the tree right by my sitting area and Dizzy's Garden.

Thanks Vic. The worst part was painting the face on. I am not an artist for sure. But I guess it looks fine to me, knowing I was the one who painted it.

Thanks Ham and Karen. I'm anxious to start another redo job. I have some flat wood geese/ducks that need painting. I am thinking I would be better off priming them first cause they are bare wood.

That sounds best. I know they say to do that when you paint a house.

I think this is my next project. I can hang them on my fence or on my garden shed or just lay them on the ground among my plants.

I think if you can make some little platforms like the one has already to keep the geese from tipping over, in the garden would be cute. I'd hang the hearts on the shed myself.
