We could put it on pontoons. When not in use they could be stored on top of the van.

Prayers for nana from me too. Group hug

Nice tables, but I would have a hard time making them level on our goofy property.

Chris I guess that's true for me too, I was thinking just one tile as a raised place for pots! It'd look very nice! I tip my hat to you.

Thanks Chris.

Yes, I know what you mean. I curse my lumpy, sloped garden every day - I'm very envious of my neighbour's flat square, even though iit's smaller than mine Sad

I like the idea of 1 or 2 raised tiles here and there, where space/slope permits. Putting a couple scoops of gravel as a base under the supports (like the gravel "pad" in the phtoos) will help even things out, too.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.

Yeah, maybe I need to think about terracing some of it. I'm reluctant to spend too much money on it as we're renting, although I think we're likely to be here for the foreseeable future. I'll have to take some pics, I'd be interested in your suggestions.

Do take photos! And also check out what Mark suggested "search online for the words 'crevice garden'" it gives even more ideas! Using pieces of long rock or tiles sideways, and then planting around those!! BTW here is a photo of my rock bed, along the sidewalk, so this one is very easily disturbed by people walking by, or loitering about bored and picking things off Sad I've become my old neighbor, an older man who was always very concerned about us kids running on his lawn, or messing with his trees! nodding I totally understand it now! All the work and care that goes into upkeep! Thumbs up Group hug

I'm hoping these do well, they're full sun in winter after the leaves fall, but mostly shade once leaves of trees grow in. Its an experiment! Thumbs up

That looks great Greg! I've just been looking at crevice gardens and I think that would not only look great on the most uneven part of the slope, but make it suitable for semp planting too. I have such heavy, sticky clay that semps wouldn't last a few weeks in it, but the addition of lots of rock and some gravel inbetween would make it much more suitable. Thumbs up

Kate - That sounds like fun too. I think I'm doing a crevice garden in a whiskey barrel.

Oh that sounds cool Clint! I think mine is going to have to wait for a little while, I'm going to need quite a bit of rock for it.

Our weather is horrible today. We have fog, cold, and winds that are enough to cause me to need anger management. I can't take another day of this. Group hug
