Update and conclusions. I planted these seeds in March which was an error. I should have planted them in August so that they reach the four or more leaf stage before the summer heat catches them. For what it's worth,
Regards,
Arif.

Hurray! Hey Arif, glad to see you. How are your seedlings doing?
When does your hot season begin?

I haven't decided yet what I will do in the way of pollinating. I may try to cross some of my really large semps, to see if I can get even larger semps with more varied colors. Smiling

I can send seed from my plants if some of you would like them.

Hey Arif! Nice to see you here again! How are your seedlings everybody? I have potted mine up separately and numbered them. I thought seeing as they're NOID's I could assign a number to them to distinguish them. Here they are today..

Hard to believe these started as seeds that were almost microscopic last summer!

How sweet to see some of them already producing offset of their own. Love the idea of giving them ID numbers, great idea.

My seedlings are out in a couple of the raised beds. And yesterday I found more seedlings coming up in some of the beds. I will have to round them up soon and isolate them.

It's hard for me to decide to discard seedling when there are so many and not wanting to take up space to grow them all out. I have most of my plants in containers. beds are coming slowly. I have pulled out some of my favorites but I'm still holding on to the others for a while. We're talking numbers around 150 or more.

Don't get in a hurry to discard them Mark. You never know what will happen when they mature.
Once you know they have shown all they are going to do, you can use the others in projects. Smiling

I germinated 20 Semp seeds and 7 survived, If I were to grow hundreds, I would just not know what to do with them as I couldn't bear to throw any! I am a true Semp mumma, they all deserve a chance! <3 Lovey dubby

I'm looking around at all my other garden beds to find places to tuck all my little babies in. I'll find room and hopefully not forget some of them.
