The biggest I have are 8ft tall. After 3 years growing.

The big ones are really useful. Here, I use them at the end of my driveway to block the view of my vegetable patch from the street (which I consider an eyesore - veggies are not neat and tidy). These ones are not Empoli but Sensi and Big Brother (now known as Conca D'Or apparently), in their 2nd year so only 5-6ft high. The smell of 1 single flower is enough to scent a room for days.

The white ones are about 12" across, per flower.

Wow, those are impressive! I really like them but just thought they were oriental lilies.

I have a few Conca d'Or and really like them! They are 2nd year bulbs for me - bloomed first year, but 2nd year fabulous, probably 4 ft where I have them - can't wait for next year!!
Thank you for answering AND your recommendation. I hope to increase my lily population, and am looking forward to fall and spring orders.

I've been putting in a number of those" Orienpet" tree lilies. Love them! I have Conca d'Or and Purple Prince but my favorite is Lavon, super strong stems and fragrance. Mine is eight feet tall after three years.


Anyway, back to topic. Last flowers from the last three days.

Zoia, wow - Lavon! I, too, prefer Orienpet lilies, for their height and strong stems. Where do you buy your bulbs? So far, I've had great luck with The Lily Garden, and my daughter gave me Conca d'Or from Breck's, which is doing great.
