Last bloom on Blushing Bellow and last daylily bloom of the season for me unless I get a super late unexpected rebloom. It has been a beautiful year in the garden. I just potted up 10 new bare root plants last week, and I've got 21 more coming in a few weeks. Next year is going to be amazing.
Thank you to everyone who has posted and shared in any way to this thread
I have sincerely enjoyed reading and studying your entries as well as seeing your blooms!
Continued good wishes for your gardening endeavors.

I'm anxious to post mine. Since I just discovered this thread, I will include dates. Some may be last flower photographed, but they will be close to the end. This was such a crazy Summer for me, but I did find some peace in shooting Daylily photos if I wasn't rushing out the door bc I slept late in the mornings, or when I had the time and energy before dark after a very long day. This season ended earlier than last year. I had way more cultivars blooming in to early September last year. This year, only one made it to September. I was so disappointed this year bc I spent last year concentrating on acquiring very late, late, and mid/late bloomers to help my mood when SAD kicks in. 🤷 Fortunately, my new hibiscus stepped up to the plate.

This was my very last daylily bloom of the year, and I almost missed it because I was gone all day. This is what it looked like at the end of the day in the dark. Orange Smoothie, October 11.
Blackeyed Stella- this was a surprise--I nearly missed it. Of course it's not a very good bloom but to have a bloom on November 13th is kind of remarkable, since we have had at least a couple of good freezes before this one popped out.
