Hemerocallis 'Jims Evil Grin' 8/2021 Daylily- (Murphy, 2012) Tall cream Daylily , Mature size: 61", 8in. cream Cascade with purple band, chartreuse throat, and cream midrib. , USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW28, In Garden Bed R2,5,3 for 34 MONTHS (Murphy). Planted in 2018.

American Daylily Society: Jim's Evil Grin (Murphy-J.P., 2012)
height 61 in.(155 cm), bloom 8.5 in.(22 cm), season EM, Dormant, Diploid, 25 buds, 3 branches, Unusual Form Cascade, Dark cream with vivid dark red eye, cream midrib, green throat, bud builder, in bloom three months. (Monacan Trail × Just Jessie)

Per Woodhenge Gardens Daylilies: (Murphy, 2012) 52" EMRe 8" Dormant Diploid UF Cascade Extended. A very tall, large cream Cascade with purple band, chartreuse throat, and cream midrib. This very imposing plant is in bloom for 3 months with moderate bud building and instant rebloom. Sunfast at 101F at 7 p.m. Rain resistant. Three branches, 22 buds initially, more after bud building. I feel that this one is worthy of awards and would like to get it distributed, so I dropped the price to make it more affordable. 2017- Bloomed from June 22 until October 26. Parentage: MONACAN TRAIL x JUST JESSIE. Fertile.

About 1 foot tall after a year in the ground. Much taller in second year (2020): 3 feet tall with an attractive 8" bloom. Hopefully it will reach 5 feet next year. Scapes look sturdy and measure 0.25 inches in diameter. Total of 5 scapes so far this tear.

I haven't looked through the August thread yet but I will just say to everyone "gorgeous" because I know they will be when get the chance.
I will post some of the ones in Aug I like. Deer came around and ate some scapes then I resprayed. Was going to respray today since it has been raining a lot too Late!! They got most of the rebloom scapes & it hadn't even been that long since I had sprayed them. They even ate some of the leaves on the sdlgs. total bummer. Most of mine were done and I was looking forward to having them bloom.

My one and only bloom in the garden today. I received two double fans from Schreiners a few weeks ago...both scaped and I expect blooms on the other plant in a few weeks.

SOLI DEO GLORIA is getting a lot of exposure (bad pun) right now. It is my last bloom in our central bed (one more bud but I have no expectations as or morning lows are dropping tonight and SDG doesn't like morning temps below 50.)

Something about our garden brings out the red in this hem. We shouldn't be growing it because half the blooms are wasted but "Caught A Ghost - Can' Let Go" (Bosch theme song.)

@DaylilyDazzled, I feel your pain. Deer ate the vast majority of my buds in a 2 night massacre. Been getting my daylily fix through living vicariously via this thread.

This is the 3rd day in a row that Elegant Explosion has had 2 blooms at once. While I appreciate the beauty, I am a little sad because it means fewer days with daylilies.
