Well I must have told that myself... my motto....
don't go on vacation....
No vacations for at least 18 years or more...just happy in my yard...
looking at my flowers and a beautiful scenery beyond...
no need to travel,perhaps because I've travelled enough.
when I get tired, I just rest. If the weather permits I sit outside. Of all things I really enjoy mindlessly wandering through my gardens, puttering.

I'm so sorry to hear that Will.

I started weeding those two areas yesterday. I finished behind the garage. What a difference! The other area is on Jerkwaad's side of the porch. I started with that garden, and I got out there late in the work day, (I will work over there only when he's not home and only until 5:00pm) therefore I had only 45 minutes to work. I got quite a bit done (thanks to my trusty spade ) but I have to finish it over there. Crabgrass with like 18 to 20 inch runners and seed heads in that garden! Each garden filled up one entire contractor size garbage bag with weeds! 🤯

So my daylilies in these two gardens have been the understory of the jungle.
