I see, that must come from the name, Lophophora Williamsi, in here once in a while we can see people selling something called lophophora fricii, not really can tell the difference, everything called lopho here

I moved mine out for a few mid 40s night and then brought them back in and that seemed to trigger it to have the bud/bloom

What do you mean by that? What may have trigger those, you gave them "colder" or "hotter" nights?

Colder chilly nights followed by warm days trigger some plants to bloom, like orchids. Not sure if it is just an old wives tales but it works for my Phal orchids.

How about seasonal blooming according to conditions at their (original) habitat? ( See our Orchid forum, bloom threads are organized by month! )
Lots of factors play in here, not just temperature, but perhaps beginning of raining season and very importantly - light duration/amount of seasonal sunlight received.
