Ive got one, a scape on a noid seedling. Just my luck, but its a seedling none the less. Its on about the smallest seedling ive got too. Nice strong scape tho ;-). Makes the work I was doing out there worth it. This spurs me on.

Same here. I agree also. Getting a couple of warm days to clean out beds.
It's nasty out there with all the blown in tree leaves and weeds.

I hope to see a lot more seedlings from others this year than the pass couple of years. I have more seedlings this year than I have had in several years, not that I will have anything better than last year, just more of them. I am really looking forward to the dip ufs, I planted about 1000 compared to about 300 the last couple of years. Thanks for the comments everyone.

Got all the beds raked out today and one of them weeded and fertilized. Gorgeous day but I'm bushed.

I hope to see more from others too, Fred. Thought you were slowing down on the number of
seeds planted. I just love some of the long and curling ufs, as well as the patterned
daylilies, but planting space and the keeping-up-with effort would probably be too much for me.
At least I can enjoy seeing the photos of others' efforts.

Fred, I counted from my lists, and it appears that I'll have 2963 seedlings, give or take,
to decide which to take pictures of or keep for further evaluation if they all bloom. I get exhausted
just thinking about it. We eliminated a couple of large beds of seedlings last year to make room
for new ones, and still have too many. Some of that number are two year olds.

This is why, at least for this year, I must stick to the plan I have, before trying any new forms.

Last year was suppose to be the year I started cutting back, but due to an unforseen problem that occured in the middle of last year (The Region 14 Spring Meeting) I wasn't able to fulfill my dream so I have put off cutting back until the end of this year.

First scapes in the hybridizing area, this seedling has three scapes and someone else pointed it out to me, with everything being green I had not seen it. It's an 18 month old of my son that was pulled last Sept.
