That's cool! Mark, yes the trillium is a native type! But they're native to much of the US/canada woodlands I tip my hat to you.

I was hoping I'd be able to post this in March -- Ribes sanguineum. Now waiting for the crabapples to open up. Enjoy this sunny Easter weekend everyone!

I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

Greg---no worries about pears hitting the trillium. The are a spring ephemeral. So stem, leaves, flower make an appearance and then completely die down (leaving underground roots only) until they make an appearance next year.

73 degrees here today. I have spent more than 8 hours working outside. My kids foraged for their own food, since I've been completely AWOL.

Tons blooming. Will try to post pics later. Too sunny, though, to get good photos.

If the weather stays like this, my tulips will be very short lived.

It has been a glorious day today here in the Willamette Valley. Mid 70's, sun all day, Daffodils, Tulips, flowering quince and much more blooming. The birds are singing all over the place. Everything is happy today.

Have a wonderful Easter tomorrow.

It was beautiful here too Lynn, got up to 70, sunny, beautiful blue skies, but no blooms yet. I did get lots of cleanup done.

Lynn, this is a bit unusual weather for us and I sure am happy with it, if only it would stay this way, but I know it won't.

Stephanie, lovely spring blooms.
