If I had been more aware of what I was doing a decade ago I may have trained the roots differently. Instead it just kept getting placed in larger pots.
Its only open flower fell off when I moved the plant to get a picture, and of course I stepped on it.

Murky said: If I had cuttings, I'd definitely try it. Even if they never meld together to be 1 trunk, even the small braid I would think would make an interesting caudex. As long as it doesn't stop them from growing or something weird that I wouldn't know about.
Murky said: I can see that as a very nice tree type adenium, just like seeing hibiscus grown as trees with a single stem. I think it'll be gorgeous once the top branches out more.

I tried it but soil was too wet & everything turned fuzzy. Have another small batch that I am leaving top off container. Not seeing any roots but the leaves have not completely rotted yet.
