Oh wow! I am so inspired by this community and all of the lovely plants! I've never posted before, but this forum is a big reason I got into houseplants years ago. I feel compelled to share mine as well!!

They've been surviving on benign neglect since the birth of my kiddo three years ago. I've been putting more time into their care recently. Some of then have gotten so big! (I know I'm in desperate need of a moss pole for my monstera!)

Thank you!! I've had that sansevieria for years and it bloomed for the first time last year. I was so surprised that it did it again! I think I remember reading somewhere that blooming is caused by "stress and inconsistent watering" which sounds about right Hilarious!

Happy to be here!! Smiling

Thank you so much! It was actually three separate cuttings that I put in the same pot when they were small.... and now I have one monster! Not sure if (or how) I'll separate the plants, although I think it might be better for them! Haha. Thinking

Just wanted to share my Dipladenia indoors now for the winter; was late to start blooming this year but getting too cold outdoors to leave out these past few weeks so is now inside. Last winter I kept her dormant in my attached garage which is kept around 50' F but I will attempt to keep her indoors this year especially since she is blooming so well right now. If needed I can always move her later.

That is so beautiful. Does it attract a lot of butterflies and hummingbirds? It's nice that you'll get to enjoy the flowers inside for a while. I always plant Paperwhite bulbs in the house so I have blooming flowers at Christmas.

Because of limited space, I've gone vertical with moveable shelving.

Yes we need to take advantage of any gardening space that we have. Your tall window looks like it gives you a lot of light; moveable shelving is a great idea to take advantage of any changes in that light I would expect too.
I just wanted to add that I find the view out your window to be fascinating to me; so different from my rural environment!

Yes, it's very congested here. Parking is at a premium. Lots of people wind up paying rent to garage their cars.

Love seeing everyone's plants so thought I'd join in and show mine.

The first picture is how it started 6 months ago - the rest are what's happened since. Oh, and please ignore the unpainted wall behind the pothos and monstera, I'm still working on that!

Nice collection Laineee. I love the way you have them displayed and it looks like your house has a lot of indirect light.

Thank you, AllieCat - most rooms in my house get a decent amount of light. I just hope it's enough to get the plants through a Scottish winter. I worry for the croton especially, but time will tell I guess Smiling

Whatever doesn't do well in my house doesn't get to live here. I only want plants that want to be with me
