Jennifer, if you are careful about your watering then having them in a pot without holes is do able...I have several!! And I love your pots! As I was scrolling down your photos I said "wow - did she get these at HD too?" but it seems you didn't which means I can't run out and try to find something similar! I used cactus soil plus extra perlite so its very "dry" and when I water I just give a tiny sip, or I spray mist them.
(if you're someone who has a good sense of what your plants need, then you'll be fine using those pots!) I know everyone says don't use them, and it does require extra work remembering that you can't water in the same way!

with Greg on this. I have used similar pots without holes. As Greg said, you just can't water them in the conventional way. Give it a try, they will be beautiful in those containers.

WOW, gorgeous plants everybody!! I cannot start a new plant addiction, I cannot start a new plant addiction, I cannot start a new plant addiction...... (Hope it works!)

Chris I think I fell asleep with that chant in my head. Not awake enough yet to know if it worked.

Luckily (or not??), not many places around here carry them, and certainly not much of an assortment if they do. It lessens my temptation. A little.

We have them everywhere here. Nurseries, Lowes, Home Depot, Fred Myers, and the list goes on.
But we don't have any of those stores in our little town of Dallas.
I might be safe for awhile.

But you'll never be able to leave home! They're lurking everywhere.

I didn't think about that. And I leave later today for the Portland area. Oh nooooo, there has to be a kazillion stores and nurseries on the way.

Uh oh, well, take a big vehicle with lots of room for plants.

I could get involved in growing so many different plants if I would allow myself to but I can only be involved with so many. That's why I'm so happy to have great nurseries in my area that I can visit and see the vast variety of things there. ATP is also a blessing as it lets me see what others passions in plants are.

Some times I just take my camera for a trip to the nurseries. Most of the time that satisfies my love of plants and I come home with just photos.

I'm so amazed by the nurseries you all have so close by. We have nothing like those.
