I love getting up and reading all these posts. Nothing better than starting out my day with a good laugh! Hilarious!

Uh oh Clint, I see a new obsession coming on! Whistling And I'm amazed at your will power of putting some back. How do you do that?

I remember seeing that planter Bev. Loved it then, love it now! Are you able to keep it outside year round? The colors are just incredible. Lovey dubby

Glad you didn't leave us for long Patty... We'd worry, you know.

Patty, I guess a "Welcome Back !" would be in order? Rolling my eyes.
Chris, after finishing the planting, I kept the 3 baskets in the coldest parts of the house for 3 weeks to acclimate new surroundings and then put the whole thing outside. It's been in a courtyard surrounded by 3 sides of the house and in 36-44 degree temps at nite covered with shade cloth. I do not plan to bring it inside as long as I can pull up on the handle and move it around, in and out of the sun, away or close to the house. I'm hoping that living outside will help keep the colors on all the succulents.
Thanks Lynn for starting a new thread on Echevs. Smiling Remember, I said I like Echeverias very much because they look like Large Chubby Sempervivums! Drooling Hurray!

Ok so now I need help! (well besides mental help!)

What do I do with these? I have no idea how to care for them! I bought some Cactus potting mix and some pea stone. I also bought this pot
Thumb of 2013-03-08/jvdubb/2976b6
It has a hole for drainage.

I also have these pots but they have no hole for drainage. Can I still use them?

I orginally went to Home Depot to look for Echeveria. They had two. But they were giant and $9. I didn't want to spend that much. Plus one was pretty damaged. So I got the semp, Crassula, Kalanchoe, and Anacampseros. they were $3-$4.

Then I decided to go to the foofoo nursery because I had a $10 gift card to use. That is where I got the Echeveria and the other one. But it has no tag and I have no idea what it is. Its this one
Thumb of 2013-03-08/jvdubb/abbeac
Plus it has two babies coming up. Can I split them off?

Clint, looks like you didnt leave any echeverias for anybody else... Blinking Glare

And Jennifer, you don't fool around when you get going, do you? The speckled plant looks like an aloe? maybe partridge?
Some of the shallow pots would only be good for the shorter plants. People do use the non hole ones, but only to put another pot that has a hole already.
I wouldn't split any babies off until you figure where new home is going to be, but if babies are already rooted when you undo the pot then they can go somewhere else. If not rooted and need to be pulled from mother, then you need to make sure wound is dried/calloused before placing in soil.

Clint, is that a Graptosedum (CA Sunset) in upper right? Looks like one that I have in my 3 tiered basket...
