Bev, That is just beautiful. What great fun to design. I could see a few sedums cascading over the edges.

Spring, LOL Oh yes, Besides the perennials, and annuals I grow in the gardens, there are the tropicals, succulents, African violets and even a few carnivorous plants hanging around.
Life is Great! Holly

Clint, looking at your pic of 5 plants, clockwise, I would think it is the 7 o'clock positioned plant but it has more of the 5 o'clock color but that is the PerleVN, right? Definitely not the 1 o'clock or plant in the middle.
Here's photo of one of the babies:

Bev I LOVE LOVE LOVE your basket planter! Lovey dubby How totally cool! I have several vintage wire potatoe baskets I might have to convert! You've inspired us! I bought an echeveria 2 years ago that actually survived winter and did great last year, what a shock! But it looks kinda puny now, so is getting replaced. I already put pics on the other forum before seeing this one. Too many forums to follow! However, an iris website ive been waiting on opened today so I have to get my order ready (boy, semps are a steal compared to them!) plus I got my iris mag in the mail so I think I'm going to check out for awhile and go to iris lala land.

Bev the baskets are awesome.

Spring I have some that I am going to have to behead. Now you've given me the courage to do it. Big Grin

Clint your new babies are so cute, won't be any time at all before they will be all grown up. Hurray!

Patty, I left all of my echeveria and aeonium outside this winter. All the echies seem to be doing well, I kept them very dry all winter. The aeonium didn't fare as well.

Ok you guys I couldn't help checking in one more time...I'm brain dead after trying to make order decisions about the iris. I'm going to get a bunch of standard dwarfs to go w/ the semps, perfect combo Thumbs up and I can continue my dual obsessions. I must say tho, this is a much livelier group than the iris clan! Blinking
