I don't sound as southern as some people around here. You would die laughing in my Public Speaking course. I swear a guy started his speech like this: "Ya'll I'm gone be talkin bout how ta change yer flayat tire tanahght." I had to bite my finger to keep from laughing. If he does a speech this week I might have to have a few drinks before class.

Arlene, I always thought that until living in the Pacific NorthWest, where there really is not much of an accent and noticing how strongly I say words like "yard" (I over pronounce the "R") or I say "mell" for "mail" sell for "sale" Really funny!! And meanwhile I have a sister who never left MI and now I totally notice her nasal accent! nodding Sticking tongue out

Clint you may have to have a few if you were to ever talk to me. Rolling on the floor laughing Is that funny or sad *Blush*

Not to change the subject but i have a plant Rolling on the floor laughing that i refer to as a succulent type plant but i think (i typed an i but was thinking an a thank) it would be correct to call it a tender succulent. You can propagate from leaves,i watered about 3 times all winter. It's the last to come in and first to go out,it really hardy but not freezing hardy.Capitella 'Campfire' i want to share some pictures of it with yall.

Back to the subject: Thanks to Lynn I tip my hat to you. looks like I've been including succulents in my clearance plant hunts lately. Here's a new one from Lowe's clearance rack for less than $1

Jade Plant (Crassula Argentea), requested name to be added to the database.

My first baby Echevera "chroma" too little my ipad can't focus on it:

Jelinda I have a campfire as well. I cant wait to get it out in the sun here when it's warm enough outside. It is still pretty green. And you little garden buddys looks to be Anole lizards. My son has one in his tank with his toads and frogs. Its a brown one. Its harder to get the green ones here I guess. So cute!! Smiling Thanks for posting your campfire. I as well purchased the same jade plant from Lowes but I bought a hanging one. i have it in the bathroom and havent had to water it yet.

So, crick or creek? We moved from MI when my kids were young so they must not have picked up the Mighigan NON-accent because they are always teasing me about where I accent words like lima BEANS instead of LIMA beans...There is something my family says that I never realized until I left how strange it is but because of age and being late I cannot remember it. I'm going home in two weeks and I think I'll catch someone saying it. Hilarious!

Great plant Jelinda. And I am so jealous that you have lovely chameleons like that. We don't even have lizards. Sad

Gigi, here is the entry for that great find of yours. Jade Plant (Crassula ovata)
C. argentea is a synonym of C. ovata.
And that baby echeveria is wonderful. Lovey dubby

Well Arlene, you probably will hear it since garden season is well on it way to producing lima BEANS. Whistling

I have no accent. Non whatsoever. Big Grin

Thank you Lynn! Glad I finished the project. Also was able to upload C. Ovata pic and corrected my spelling Argentea on this Jade plant. :hurray:.

Rolling on the floor laughing that is too funny! I on't even know what a French accent sounds like. You picked up on that "fussin (with a g) too much" phrase though because that's exactly what I was thinking when I typed it. However, I read that somewhere and just copied it.
