Solaris- Damask, Infanta, Eternal Spring, Siren's Song, Vela, Mimas, Yukitoro, Pacific Wonderlanz, Sun Devil, Sedona, Theia, Starwalt Rose and Thunderbolt.
Hidden Springs—only new to me one was Rose Diamond and a few other replacements just to make it worth the shipping.
Now to get back to work so I can pay for them!

Don't know how long it'll be there but HS has Mandaleen, never seen it offered commercially before. Confetti has already sold out. Both are late bloomers, huge and fragrant.

And if you know anyone looking for Bartzella Homestead Farms has offering it for $27. Their roots are always healthy and large.

I almost missed Damask, thought I had it already but wasn't on the spreadsheet! So happy with the mix I managed to get this year, from white to almost black red! Now just have to build a spot to plant them!

Sounds great Liz! Damask and Theia really caught my eye. I'm looking for something that would look pretty next to Door County Sunset and I think I'd like a dark maroon/berry-ish color so I'm looking at Eternal Spring, Wild Forest Blackberry, #56 and Hephistos. Or should I wait for Rimpoh to be offered again?

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm a bit overwhelmed! It's very stressful knowing you have no idea what will sell out in the next second.

I find I am looking at more cultivars known for their breeding qualities/traits. I bought one tree peony from Solaris, 'Yin Zhuang sug uo' saw some offspring from this last summer in person that blew me away. It went to the top of my list.

Congrats to all who got a little something they wanted. I tip my hat to you.

I opened Adelman's when they just opened, did find what I need though. missed the opening of Solaris and Hidden Springs, When finally opened their catalogs probably what I wanted was gone. I wanted Europa from Hidden Springs and i was gone. I planned a few from Solaris and don't see them available.

LG, Did you want to buy Mrs. A. M. Brand? Hidden Springs still has it. Glad many Forum members bought pretty peonies! Prices went up this year.

I asked Nate (that man is incredible - he answered within an hour of sending the email) and he suggested either eternal spring or wild forest blackberry (I like a lot of big flowers and don't need fertility) and ES just sold out so I just bought WFB.

Liz, I'll be so curious to see your ES bloom! (The registry photo looks more pink than the Solaris photos.)

Prices did go up, last year I bought some tree peonies in the range of $49-$50, this year you find very few things in that price range.

Glad Nate was able to give you a suggestion, Zellycat! I'd certainly take his opinion as that man has seen and remembers so many woody peonies that it makes my head swim! If you ever get an opportunity to attend one of his lectures do so—you can certainly tell he is an experienced teacher and knows woody peonies better than just about anyone alive now.

Last up for the day (as far as I know) is Brooks opening at either 5 or 6 pm PST.

All garden related things seem to be either out of supply or higher priced, just glad most have a relatively small increase this year. Glad they all don't have new intros priced over $1000!

While waiting for Alderman to be opened last night, I did read a few of his blogs, my knowledge on the tree peonies is a bit better than before, but not much, it's still Greek to me.

Hurray! You guys are die hard peony lovers… so much enthusiasm is contagious…
I can't plant some of my peony's . Last Nov. had a huge rain/wind storm and the back pasture was a lake. And now the whole garden is now under 6" of snow and ice. That's my story and I'm stricken to it…

It nice to see some of you still out gardening and posting pics.

I have tree peony's that are over 30 years old. I planted a few new peony's last Oct.. Thank goodness they are deer proof, because the deer are camping out right over the newly planted area eating the strawberry tree leafs and berries.

The prices have gone up considerably as shipping has too. Especially the new one's. I miss going to the farmers markets and the flower and garden shows peony's we're always sold at reasonable prices from locals.

Hoping to make it to Adelman's this spring to check out their peony fields.
I’m so busy... “I don’t know if I found a rope or lost a horse.”

Zellycat, I got Eternal Spring in 2019. It still hasn't bloomed, but it's looking good after the flooding, so I am hopeful to see a bloom this Spring.

I got quite a few from Solaris: Damask, Vela, that Yin Zhuang sug uo that Tracey got, Manchurian Promise are the ones I can think of.

From Hidden Springs I got 2 Lins peonies: Mercedes and Confetti.
And two of the Mrs. Frank Beach and JV Edlund. I didn't see Mrs A. M Brand for some reason. I was in a hurry to check out, because I lost Blue Rose on Solaris by the time I checked out. D'Oh!

I am not buying much this year. I haven't even seen blooms on the majority of the cultivars that I already own, so I have plenty to look forward to this spring and probably the next.

Here is what I did get:

ohmypeonies
Martha Bulloch (I always have admired the blooms on this one)
Lady Kate (my niece is named Kate, so...)

Adelman Peony Gardens
May Lilac (super price for it and it has been on my want list for a while now)
Lovely Rose (just enjoyed how it looked, no other considerations)
Unique (good price for a red-flowering itoh)

Should anyone see a herbaceous peony for sale that starts with the letter X, please let me know. I can find woodies, but no luck for herbaceous varieties.

Thanks!

Top. I have seen Xochitl at Song Sparrow before it closed, otherwise I have nor seen another peony started with X.
