You guys are die hard peony lovers… so much enthusiasm is contagious…
I can't plant some of my peony's . Last Nov. had a huge rain/wind storm and the back pasture was a lake. And now the whole garden is now under 6" of snow and ice. That's my story and I'm stricken to it…
It nice to see some of you still out gardening and posting pics.
I have tree peony's that are over 30 years old. I planted a few new peony's last Oct.. Thank goodness they are deer proof, because the deer are camping out right over the newly planted area eating the strawberry tree leafs and berries.
The prices have gone up considerably as shipping has too. Especially the new one's. I miss going to the farmers markets and the flower and garden shows peony's we're always sold at reasonable prices from locals.
Hoping to make it to Adelman's this spring to check out their peony fields.
