Valerie, Peony Shop sells only root divisions from peonies grown in the field. What is "cv"? I heard that they can send mislabels but I did not have this problem.

Good to know that the very new variety Miss Canada is very fragrant. Since it is not in the Registry, could you post a picture?

Hi Anya - wow, they must have thousands of acres then. Good to hear you have good experience with them. CV is short for cultivar.

LG, Peony Shop is adding more varieties while some are disappearing. Probably they will revise their list after the beginning of the growing season.

That depends very much on the weather Laurie. We were lucky here to have had lots of rain the past Summer (it doesn't flood here and the soil is mostly open bottom with clay here and there) so if three or four flowers were open on each stem they were too heavy to self-support when they got soaked.

Yes, I think it is great for customers to see the list of peonies before the catalog is open so we can plan what to order. I meant I have never seen this peony in any other nursery here but of course I don't look everywhere.

My order with Peony Shop did not go through I probably did not hit "confirm order", I remember that I chose all options and hit "order". OK, next time.

I went through the price list when it hit my email, didn't bother logging on to the website when I saw the price on Salmon Hayes since I didn't want to be tempted! Everything I was marginally interested in was sold out by the time I checked Monday morning.
Also wanted to put in an order with Palatine Roses Monday morning but their site was overloaded—they cancelled their internet opening to regroup. Hopefully their next attempt will be successful! I should probably wait to order any, so hard to resist the pretties though!

We don't have as many places to order from this year. Does anyone know the status of Fina? Last I heard was they wanted to sell it.

I got a note on messenger from Sam saying they are retiring at the end of this (2021) season, sounded pretty final. But I've been seeing a lot of posts from people who say they're gearing up to sell roots, hopefully they'll start showing up with advertising and plant lists…it's going to be hard to replace these established companies with massive selections though!

I have 14 days to pay up and that means Dec 20th, I'm waiting for one credit card to come. This will earn me free trips to Boston this coming year. Last year I paid nearly $1000 for 2 tickets to Boston, so it's worth the wait.
Liz, that was a disappointment, but I kind of sense that so I did order from 4-5 different sources already, however, I don't mind adding more.

I had intended to order Itohs but the cost of the phyto and shipping turned me off. For a few roots it just is not worth it.

Caroline, I guess peony Shop combine US and Canadian orders for overseas shipping, no sure though.
