Looked and Brooks has Rose Heart, know this one is always in demand! Also has Nelda's Joy, I'll need to replace mine but will wait until I'm actually there for the whole growing season. The herbaceous hybrids haven't been doing as well as I thought they would.
Pulled the trigger today with Halifax Perennials for the smaller roots of Mother's Choice, Moon over Barrington and Nancy Nicholls. There were some tempting ones, but I decided to limit myself. I still have not seen previous year ordered peony blooms.
I was browsing peony websites because I am thinking of buying one more Guardian of the Monastery, but no luck. My Guardian doesn't look good this fall and I worry that it might not show up next spring. I cannot imagine my life without the Guardian. I have to make sure that I get one more.

I ordered 5 peonies from Wild earlier this year, a spring planting and I think they are doing ok (alive). Did not order any roots for the traditional fall planting, but I may be tempted if Adelman has a year ending sale... I really like their own root woodies.
Brooks has a 20% off sale, but I have most of what they offer. However, Brave Heart did tickle my plantsy...
I know several folks who have placed orders with A & D. Liz contacted them a week ago and they let her know that Don had passed away this past Spring. I had contacted them in early October and they said they would ship my order in early November. They never mentioned Don's passing
in my email.
Given the situation, I would make an inquiry.
LG - My garden grows with love and a lot of hard work.
If you ordered anything rare from A&D you'll probably be refunded. My email said the Don knew where all of the specialty stuff was and that he didn't have it mapped out so that someone could take over easily. I just told Keith to hold my order until next year, if he figures it out next spring great, If not we'll deal with it then when he's more able to figure things out.
