I whack mine every year, but I am just whacked out. Whistling I want something I do not have to whack. I am lazy. *Blush*

Thanks Arlene. On closer look, that must have been the year of my experiment, because this bed has the daff foliage kind of tucked down and around the emerging ferns. I have a similar bed on the other side of the sidewalk and that is the one I whacked that year. Can't locate a photo showing the stubbins, but it seemed to work fine.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

That foliage looks real good compared to mine. King Alfred are very tall and flop over onto the other plants. I am going to dig them up they are just too much trouble. What kind are yours? I would not mind having shorter ones, I had bought some Miniature ones but forgot to plant them. I still might do so just to see what happens, container I mean.

Susan,
I think those are tete a tete. Oh my don't think that is spelled right. They are the mini ones. Yes, I think you should plant them. They may not come up until next year.
