Debra, this is beautiful. Looks like a yellow rose. What is the name of it??

Thank you Susan. I have added this forum to my subsribed forums. Goodness knows I certainly have plenty of perrenials. And lots and lots and lots of daffs. In fact my daffs have just started. Lots more to come.

I am really fond of my flowers and these past few years have been really socking up on the spring bulbs so as to have a great start to the season. I have very much a cottage garden. Daffs are always good for a spring bulb they come back each year. But I love tulips also and while it is a pain to replant, I like them so much that I do. But this past fall bought lots of perrenial, really perennial tulips that will come back forever. The first of these have just bloomed but lots more to come.

humilis violacea. It is a species tulip. Small, the size of a large flowered crocus. But the color just pops.

There are a bunch of strains. I see Scheeper sells one wuth a yellow base. Mine has a black base and I bought it from Colorblends. Plan on getting more this fall.

Yes, I thought it looked like a crocus but I have never seen a pink crocus. It's beautiful. All your bulbs are beautiful!
That's a lot of hard work.

Worth the work when they bloom in the spring. And I plan on adding more and more of the perennial ones so that I don't have to replant all my tulips each year.
