Ah yes, at least there will be two most popular, Indian cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), and Javan (Amomum compactum). Indian cardamon grow too slow at my place, perhaps they prever more subtropical. Javan is native here and grow effortlessly. Usually Indian one price twice higher.
There are also plenty of amomum species grows in the wild here, many with striking inflorescence and fruits. Some people here also use them medicinally, and for air freshener, chop the fresh blooms, leaves or rhizome, put on a dish with water, the scent will spread accross the room.
